Pre-season friendly schedule for Pinchbeck United

Pinchbeck United have lined up a number of derby duels for their pre-season friendlies.

The Knights will face five of their Lincolnshire rivals in preparation for the new Thurlow Nunn League season.

They kick-off their friendlies on Wednesday, July 3, with a home match against United Counties League Premier Division North side Sleaford Town.

Pinchbeck then host Boston Town on Saturday, July 6, before travelling to Skegness Town on Wednesday, July 10.

They make the trip to Bourne Town on Saturday, July 13, before entertaining Deeping Rangers on Wednesday, July 17.

Pre-season is completed on Monday, July 23, with a home match against King's Lynn Town Under 23s.

All of Pinchbeck's home fixtures will be played at Knight Street.

Deeping Rangers start their friendlies with a home match against King's Lynn on Saturday, July 6.

That's followed by a home match with Grantham Town in the South Kesteven Charity Cup on Saturday, July 13.

Atfer the match at Pinchbeck, Deeping will welcome Boston United Under 23s to the Haydon Whitham Stadium on Wednesday, July 24.

Young Clarets midfielder Joe Cole has netted a move to National League North side Peterborough Sports.

Cole made nearly 30 appearances for Rangers last season after graduating through the youth ranks at the club.

He joins a Sports side who are jointly managed by ex-Deeping striker Luke Steele.
