Holbeach United beat Pinchbeck United in the Thurlow Nunn League
Holbeach United took the derby spoils as they defeated Pinchbeck United on Boxing Day.
The Tigers ran out 4-0 winners in the Thurlow Nunn League Division One North match at the Sir Halley Stewart ground.
Marley Hamilton gave Holbeach a first half lead when he capitalised on a wayward Pinchbeck pass to slot home the opening goal.
Tigers goalkeeper Josh Simpson then made a crucial save on the stroke of half-time to keep out a JJ Ward free-kick.
Holbeach then took control of the contest after the break with Sam Carter doubling the lead 10 minutes after the restart from the penalty spot following a foul on George Frost.
Kyle Compton powered home the third goal on the hour mark before Frost sealed the win with 15 minutes remaining as he converted a rebound after his first effort was blocked.
The win moved Holbeach up into seventh spot ahead of their home game with Leiston Under 23s on Saturday (3pm).
The loss for Pinchbeck ended a three-game unbeaten league run and they tasted defeat again 48 hours later after a 3-2 away loss at Whittlesey Athletic on Saturday.
Kieran Hibbins gave Whittlesey the lead after just four minutes with Pinchbeck equalising through Flynn Slater.
A penalty from Jack Carter three minutes before the break gave Whittlesey the lead again going into the interval.
Slater again brought Pinchbeck back onto level terms in the second period before Ollie Gale grabbed the winner for Whittlesey.
The Knights handed a debut to former Spalding United player Bailey Baker who joined on dual registration from Bourne Town.
Wakes frontman James Hill-Seekings also featured for Pinchbeck on Boxing Day under the same terms as he works his way back to fitness after a pre-season injury.
Pinchbeck have a home match with Dussindale and Hellesdon Rovers at the Sir Halley Stewart ground on Saturday (3pm).
