Moulton Harrox Cricket Club launch fundraising drive

Moulton Harrox Cricket Club have launched a fundraising drive as part of their development plans for next season.

Harrox, who finished third in the South Lincs and Border League Championship last term, are looking to upgrade their current covers that protect the wickets at Broad Lane.

They are hoping to raise £5,000 and any donations in multiples of £25 will receive a vinyl brick to place on the covers.

The club has so far raised £1,385 of its target and donations can be made at https://www.gofundme.com/f/buy-a-brick-to-support-the-purchase-of-new-covers?utm_campaign=p_cp+sharesheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer

The club said: "As we continue to grow and develop, we have recognised the need to replace our long-standing cricket covers, which no longer work effectively.

"Cricket covers provide pivotal protection to our pitches across all levels.

"We are grateful to have received main sponsorship from LMC Smart Talent Solutions but we need to continue raising additional funds to purchase these.

"We are offering all businesses, players, families and friends the opportunity to 'buy a brick' in the form of a vinyl sticker that can be placed onto the covers.

"The cost per 'brick' is £25 with all funds going towards the purchasing of the vinyl and new covers."
