Debut for Jack Issitt in the BriSCA F1 Stock Cars at King’s Lynn
Jack Issitt made his debut in the BriSCA F1 Stock Cars at King’s Lynn on Saturday.
Using a Newson Race hire car, it was a dream come true for the current F2 racer and, despite not getting into the results, Issitt proved to be a more than useful pilot of the V8 Chevy powered racer.
Monsoon rain just before start time saw the racing surface for his first heat make it 'tricky' to say the least but, while more experienced names failed to negotiate the challenging conditions, Issitt put in more laps than most.
After some serious track work, the racing surface was second to none for the rest of the night and Issitt put in some excellent laps throughout the evening.
Barry Clow was the best local finisher in the F2 Stock Car final which was won by Middlewich’s Kyle Taylor after securing 10th place.
Clow also got a seventh and 10th place finish in his heats. His son Jason also had a 10th place finish in one of the heats while Holbeach's Daniel Vaughan had the best finish of the night with a great fourth place in the second heat.
Sonny Parsons was in action for the Aftermath in the Unlimited Banger War of the Worlds team competition.
Parsons put in a great performance for the team as he racked up the entertainer points which helped the team to win the league on the night.
His points haul will also see him make his debut in the Unlimited Banger World of Shale Championship in September which is a fantastic achievement.
