Pinchbeck United host Newark & Sherwood United in the United Counties League Premier Division North
Pinchbeck United are hoping to make the most of their home comforts to win their battle for step five survival.
The Knights have nine games remaining in their bid to preserve their United Counties League Premier Division North status.
Eight of those matches are at home, starting tonight (Tuesday) when 16th-placed Newark & Sherwood are the visitors to the Sir Halley Stewart ground (7.45pm).
And manager Lewis Thorogood is hoping for a strong show of home support to help boost his side in their fight against relegation.
He said: "We need to rally the troops to pick up some support because every game in the run-in is going to be crucial and we need everybody to get behind us to help us get over the line.
"We've got some local derbies in run-in, some win-able games as well as a crunch match against Hucknall.
"It's going to be tough, there's no question about that, but we know that we have to fight to stay in the league.
"We've just got to take it a game at a time and make sure that we give it the best shot we can to get more points on the board.
"We need to do all we can to get ourselves into a position of safety and we believe that we can do it. There is a belief in the group which is good."
The Knights go into the final nine games of the season with a three-point advantage over bottom-of-the-table Hucknall Town.
The two sides are still to meet for the second time this term with Pinchbeck hosting the Nottinghamshire side on Saturday, March 30.
Thorogood added: "Hucknall have picked up a couple of points here and there and credit to them for that.
"The reality is that it's going to go toe-to-toe between now and the end of the season. It will go up and down until the last kick of the season.
Pinchbeck - who were without a game at the weekend - have re-signed Jordan Neil from Blackstones while Clayton Wilkinson and Joe Nicholson have been recruited from Lincoln United.
The duo will face a quick reunion against their old club as Pinchbeck host Lincoln next Tuesday (February 27).
