Success for the Holbeach and Fenland Gymnastics Club
Thirteen gymnasts from the Holbeach and Fenland Club travelled to Eagles in King's Lynn for a competition.
The gymnasts performed beautifully on all four pieces of apparatus at various levels to scoop up a haul of eight gold, nine silver and eight bronze medals.
Artistic head coach Lauren Day said: "We are so proud of all of the girls for their dedication to training and commitment to gymnastics, this competition has just shown how much hard work they have been putting in."
In the first round of the day, the club had Isabel, Millie, Tillie and Grace competing at tin level.
They got seven medals between them with all the girls doing amazing on all four pieces showing a huge confidence boost.
Grace got two golds and two silvers giving her third place overall at tin Level.
They then moved onto the second round where the club had the younger girls of Imogen, Elsie, Luna, Everly and Elsie K competing.
There were two levels in this round with Luna, Everly and Elsie competing at brass.
Everly and Elsie L competed beautifully, just missing out on medals with fourth and fifth places.
Luna, who was at her first competition, came away with three bronze medals and fifth place overall.
Imogen and Elsie K were competing at the next level up and Elsie's solid beam got her a silver medal while three other identical performances helped secure a silver place overall.
Imogen had four solid pieces and got herself two golds, one silver and bronze and was crowned tin champion.
Annabelle was competing at tin and she produced a lovely beam and vault to give her a bronze and silver medal which was followed by a silver in the all-round.
Immy competed at copper level which was the highest level of the day at the same time and her graceful floor got her a gold and her solid beam secured a silver in a very high level round.
The final round of the day saw Amy and Mia both competing at zinc level.
Amy narrowly missed out on the medals with a fourth and fifth place while Mia's beautiful performance on the floor got her a gold medal and she had a solid vault and beam giving her two silver medals.
The club are now looking forward to the 2025 competition season after a very well deserved break over Christmas for the gymnasts and coaches.
