Spalding United host Harborough Town in the Northern Premier League
Manager Elliot Sandy is urging his Spalding United side to 'give it everything they've got' in a massive match for the Tulips on Saturday.
Sandy's third-placed side host table-topping Harborough Town in the match of the day in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division.
Just two points separates the title rivals in the division with Harborough also having a game in hand on the Tulips who were leapfrogged by Anstey Nomads on Tuesday night.
The Leicestershire side moved a point clear of Spalding into second spot, having now played the same amount of games, following a 3-0 midweek win at Hinckley LR.
The Tulips have eight matches of their campaign remaining with top spot securing promotion and second place guaranteeing home advantage in the play-off semi-final and final.
Sandy said: "We're on a good run of form and it's a big game for us.
"We'll train well this week and I think we've just got to go with the mentality now of giving it everything that we've got game by game.
"It's the old cliche of eight cup finals but it's true and you've got to play each one as if it could be your last.
"You either achieve what you want to achieve or fall short. We'll make sure that we prepare right and I want the fans come out to support us.
"Harborough are top of the league and probably expected to win it so we need to be on our game which we will be to give it everything we've got."
The two leading lights go into Saturday's clash with both near the top of the form table from the last six league games.
Harborough have five wins and a draw from that sequence after being held to a 1-1 stalemate by Corby Town on Saturday.
Spalding have also recorded five wins and are on a three-match streak of victories after bouncing back from their disappointing defeat at Bedworth United last month.
Harborough do possess the division's leading marksman in Tendai Daire while Luis Rose has recently joined the Bees from Anstey.
He was on target in the Nomads' recent 5-0 win at the Sir Halley Stewart ground before making the move to the league leaders.
The match is the first of four games in nine days for the Tulips who play their rearranged home clash with Lye Town on Tuesday night.
They then travel to Shepshed Dynamo next weekend before hosting Hinckley LR on Easter Monday.
