Holbeach and District Darts League finals night

Mark Horspool secured singles success at the Holbeach and District Darts League's finals night.

Horspool defeated Colin Seaton 2-1 in the final of the Clark Cup to take the Division One honours.

He had earlier beaten Gary Mace 2-1 in the semi-final to set up his showdown with Seaton who had ousted Simon Hill in their last four clash.

Horspool was also part of the Tigers Social Club D side which won the Division One Team Cup after a 9-6 success over Tigers B.

Tigers A were the Division Two Team Cup winners after their 10-2 success over the Holbeach Services Club.

Greyhound won the Shelton Cup Division Two final after a 14-12 victory over Tigers A while Tigers C lifted the Florida Cup for Division One teams following a narrow 14-13 win against Tigers F.

Tigers F did, however, take home the Tony Canham Cup after winning their fives final 3-2 against Tigers B.

Monty Bunn and Craig Pilcher of the Greyhound won the Division Two Gilder Pairs after a 2-0 victory against Danny Goddard and Jamie Griggs of Tigers B.

Logan Goddard and Steve Urch of Tigers E took the honours in the Division One Gilder Pairs after a 2-1 victory over Claire Brookin and Ashley Allen of Tigers F.

Danny Goddard was the winner of the Clark Cup for Division Two singles after a 2-0 success over Jamie Griggs.

Goddard had earlier won 2-1 in his semi-final against Dave Godfrey while Jamie Griggs got the better of Pete Griggs in his last four tie.

The event was held at the Tigers Sports and Social Club on what league secretary Alan 'Lefty' Wright described as a 'great night for local darts.'
