Spalding United host Royston Town in the Southern League Premier Division Central
Jimmy Dean is hoping his Spalding United side are selling their fans a good product after calling for a strong show of support for their first home midweek match of the campaign tonight (Tuesday).
The Tulips are playing under the new floodlights at the Sir Halley Stewart ground for the first time this season when they host Royston Town (7.45pm).
Dean's charges go into the match buoyed by a 5-1 home win over AFC Sudbury in Saturday's Southern League Premier Division Central clash.
The emphatic victory left the Tulips in second spot in the standings and also top goalscorers in the division.
Dean said: "There is no point winning well on Saturday and then not performing against Royston.
"It will be a very difficult game. Their manager knows what he's doing and they've got some experienced heads right through their side.
"We got to be ready for it.
"We're trying to sell the fans a great product and it was another good crowd on Saturday.
"I want them to get down there on Tuesday night and get behind us to try and help us win the game."
Josh McCammon, Curtis Thompson and Matty Bondswell could all be back in contention for selection after missing the weekend win.
Despite conceding first, Spalding struck back with a fine all-round performance which resulted in goals for Ben Hart, Jack Roberts, Bart Cybulski, Yusifu Ceesay and James Clifton.
Clifton was one of five substitutes all used by the Tulips to keep the players fresh for their midweek challenge.
Dean added: "There were huge parts of the game which we can be very happy with in the way we moved the ball and ran off it and the chances that we created.
"The start to both halves were quite tentative and we weren't really where we needed to be.
"But the last 30 or 35 minutes of each half were outstanding and I really enjoyed watching it.
"We were also able to make the five substitutes and I don't feel the tempo of the game dropped which was a compliment to them."
Spalding also have a home match at the weekend as they host Northern Premier League Midlands Division side Corby Town in the FA Trophy.
