Pinchbeck United beat Whittlesey Athletic in the Thurlow Nunn League

Pinchbeck pocketed their biggest win since joining the Thurlow Nunn League after a three-goal home success over Whittlesey Athletic on Tuesday night.

The Knights bounced back from their 6-1 defeat in the FA Vase at the weekend to record their second win of the Division One North season.

Flynn Slater struck the opening goal as he netted for the second successive game to put Pinchbeck ahead at the break.

A penalty from Owen Sheriff then doubled the Knights' lead before Logan Tate sealed the success with a third goal late on.

The victory moved the Knights up into mid-table in their first season back at step six of the non-league pyramid following relegation last term.

It also leaves Whittlesey with just two points from their opening seven league games.

Pinchbeck travel to bottom of the table Swaffham Town on Saturday looking for back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
