Holbeach United beat FC Parson Drove in the Thurlow Nunn League
Holbeach United roared to their biggest away win of the Thurlow Nunn League campaign on Saturday.
The Tigers were 5-1 away victors at FC Parson Drove to maintain their play-off push in Division One North.
The victory leaves them three points adrift of the top five with eight matches of the campaign remaining.
Holbeach made a flying start to the contest with three goals coming in the first 26 minutes of the match.
They took a ninth minute lead when Pat Kacirek skillfully worked an opening inside the penalty area before slotting home the opening goal.
The lead was doubled after 19 minutes when Jordan Oldham powered home a header from a Sam Carter corner.
Kyle Compton added the third goal by finishing into an empty net after Callum Wright's effort had beaten the home goalkeeper.
A fourth goal then arrived three minutes before half-time with a close range finish from Ryan Cook.
The visitors' scoring was then completed in the 79th minute when Jordan Keeble picked himself up after being fouled in the penalty area to net the resultant spot kick.
Drove did pull a goal back with seven minutes remaining but it was too little too late to deny Holbeach a fourth league win from the last five games.
They host Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers on Saturday.
The Norfolk club shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Pinchbeck United last weekend.
Flynn Slater had given the Knights the lead which was cancelled out by an equaliser before the break.
Pinchbeck travel to runaway league leaders Haverhill Rovers on Saturday.
