A-levels 2024: Results from Grantham, Stamford, Rutland, Spalding, Deepings and Bourne
The wait is over as A-level results are out today.
Grades received by pupils will determine which university places, colleges courses or apprenticeships they have gained.
We will bring you news and photos from schools across the area. As we receive them their success stories will be updated by clicking on the schools in the list below:
As well as A-levels, pupils will receive results for T-levels and vocational technical qualifications.
Of the 300,000 teenagers receiving results in the UK, 9.3 per cent of their A-level grades were A*, compared with 8.9 per cent last year and 7.7 per cent in 2019.
Patricia Bradwell (Con), the councillor responsible for children’s services in Lincolnshire, said: “This will be an exciting day for young people across the county and their families.
“I’m sure that you’ve all done very well, and your results will reflect all your hard work.
“Inevitably, there will be some pupils who are disappointed with their grades. However, please know that you are not alone. A range of support is available to help you take your next step, whether that's university, employment or training.
“I wish you all the very best for the future. You should be proud of all you’ve achieved so far, and I’m sure you have many more successes yet to come.”
