Weather warning for rain issued by Met Office for parts of Lincolnshire including Stamford, Spalding, Bourne and Grantham
The Met Office has warned of two more days of heavy rain.
Thunderstorms hit Lincolnshire yesterday (Saturday, September 21), bringing strong winds and downpours of rain.
Two further yellow weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office for today and tomorrow (September 22 and 23), which forecast heavy rain.
The warnings cover parts of Lincolnshire including Stamford, Spalding, Grantham and Bourne, and Rutland.
Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, and some communities might become cut off if roads are flooded, the Met Office has warned.
Significant delays or cancellations to train and bus services are possible, and homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.
