Fundraising page set up to pay for the funerals of Stamford mother and son Vivien and Milan Radocz who died in a car accident
Friends of a mother and son who died in a car accident have set up a fundraising page to help pay for their funerals.
Vivien and Milan Radocz died on Saturday evening after their car was found submerged in a pond near RAF Wittering.
Milan was rescued by firefighters and taken to hospital for treatment but later died. His mum died at the scene.
A Justgiving page set up to support their family says: "Vivien and Milan were cruelly taken from this world far too soon. Their tragic deaths have shattered our community and we would like to do what little we can to help."
Vivien, 28, was an only child who leaves her mum Tunde and her mum's partner Sandor. Milan was their only grandchild.
Their friends added: "While the money won't take away their heartbreak, we hope to help make this sad time a little easier."
Milan attended St George's Primary School in Stamford and was due to start Year 4 this week. He has been described by Vivien's friends as "the sweetest boy who was full of life".
They added: "Vivien was such a beautiful, kind person - the first to help anyone in need. She was a proud and dedicated mother. The best friend you can ever imagine to have. Brave and unstoppable."
Donations towards their funerals can be made at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/friends-from-stamford-1
