An award-winning gospel choir who reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent is heading to town for a fundraising concert.
The EAGA Gospel Choir will perform at St Martin’s Church, in Stamford, on Saturday, December 9 for an event hosted by Stamford media agency 29 London.
Recently named Gospel Choir of the Year by BBC TV’s Songs of Praise, EAGA Gospel Choir reached the semi-finals of ITV show Britain’s Got Talent in 2018.

Pastor Samuel, from the EAGA Gospel Choir, said: "We can’t wait to come to Stamford, it’s a really exciting opportunity to see the beautiful town and perform there.
“Christmas is a time of joy and unity, and through our performance, we aim to spread that spirit far and wide.”
Francesca Donnellan, director of 29 London added: “We are so incredibly lucky to have The EAGA Gospel Choir come to Stamford and spread the joy of the festive season.
“I have seen them perform many times before and every time they have blown me away.
“It’s a really important time of year to bring communities together and there’s no better way than through music, especially when it’s jubilant joyful gospel music.”
