Children across Lincolnshire and Rutland celebrate World Book Day




Young bookworms across the area are dressing up as their favourite characters to mark World Book Day today.

The event is held annually to encourage children to enjoy delving into a good book, and promote reading.

Schools across Lincolnshire and Rutland are taking part and it comes as a children’s book was revealed as one of the most popular books borrowed from county libraries.
