Rotary Young Musician Competition will take place in Bourne
The Rotary Club of Bourne will be holding the local heat of the Rotary Young Musician Competition on Sunday, January 26, at the Bourne Westfield Academy, starting at 10.30am.
The competition goes through district finals and culminates in a national final in the spring of 2020.
There are three age groups, junior, (six – 10 years) intermediate (11 - 13 years) and senior (14 - 17 years), ages as at August 31, 2019.
Rotary Club makes welcome donation to Bourne community
There are six categories in each age group - solo voice, solo instrument, ensemble voice, ensemble instrumental (two to five people), choir and group (six or more people).
All types of instrument and musical genre are permitted.
The gold awardees in each category have the opportunity to compete in the district competition.

Entry forms are also available from any member of the Rotary Club of Bourne. The closing date for entries is January 17.
