An independent chocolate shop opened its doors to customers yesterday (August 24) from a new location.

Stamford Heavenly Chocolates, which began at a farm shop in Stamford, has re-located to Sacrewell Farm in Thornhaugh.

Barbara said: “This is such an exciting time for our business.

"We absolutely love what we do and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our customers.”

The new location features a workshop area, visitor chocolate-making viewing space and a shop. The use of the building in the courtyard area which once housed animals has also allowed the team grow from three members of staff to seven.

Barbara said: “It’s wonderful to be part of a large visitor attraction and one that is primarily focused at families.

"We welcome all to our shop and workshops from children’s parties to adult workshops, and Sacrewell lends itself as an educational, as well as fun, visitor attraction which fits well with us being here.”

As part of a new development at Sacrewell, Stamford Heavenly Chocolates is set to be joined by more artisan businesses in the coming months.
