Choir director denies charges of sexually assaulting a teenage boy

The director of a Lincolnshire-based choir today (Wednesday, August 22) denied three charges of sexually assaulting a teenage boy.
Andrew Clingo, musical director of the Handful of Harmonies Choir, pleaded not guilty at Lincoln Crown Court to three charges of sexual assault on dates between October 1, 2007 and March 1, 2009.
Clingo, 42, of Barleyfield, Langtoft, was granted bail and the hearing was adjourned for a jury trial scheduled to be held in April 2019.
