Tickets for Christmas fair at Burghley House near Stamford selling quickly




Tickets for a popular Christmas market are selling quickly.

The grounds of Burghley House near Stamford will be filled with festive chalets, pagodas and marquees from Thursday, November 28 to Sunday, December 1

A total of 150 stalls will offer a range of artisan gifts and tasty festive treats.

Local traders include Ankole, Prim and Dotty, Hunter’s Interiors, My Noodle Bug, Stamford Notebook Company, Mallard Point, The Brownie Company, Feast and Foliage Rutland and Wicked Temper.

Festive tunes will be playing and a large Victorian carousel will provide extra entertainment.

According to a spokesperson for Burghley House, tickets are selling fast with flexi tickets and popular timeslots already fully booked.

Opening hours of the Burghley Christmas Fair will differ depending on the day, with Thursday and Sunday trading between 9.30am and 4pm, and on Friday and Saturday from 9.30am to 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 per person, which includes parking, and £5 for children aged three to 15, are available from www.burghley.co.uk.

They must be booked in advance and will not be available on the gate.

A Christmas silent disco will take place at Burghley on December 5 and 6 in a marquee bedecked in sparkling lights and decorations.

Three DJs will battle it out over different headset channels with set lists including music from the 80s, 90s and 00s as well as Christmas party songs.
