Resignation of Oakham South ward councillor leaves vacancy on Rutland County Council

Rutland County Council has a vacancy after Oakham South ward councillor Nick Woodley resigned.
Coun Woodley submitted his resignation from Rutland County Council in writing on Wednesday last week (June 30), effective immediately.
An election will be held to fill the vacancy within 35 days, after the required notice is made in writing to the returning officer by two local government electors.
