Delays on A1 at Wittering affecting drivers travelling between Stamford and Peterborough

An incident is causing delays on the A1.

There are queues on the A1 southbound this morning (Thursday, July 4) between Thornhaugh, near Wansford, and Wittering.

Google Maps is reporting there to have been a crash in the area while AA is just reporting delays.

The A1 was also blocked this morning at Little Ponton after a two-vehicle crash.

Update: The road is now clear.
