One Way Out in Oakham brings escape room owners together

An escape room business hosted a conference for owners from around the country.

Tessa Angell, who runs One Way Out in Long Row, Oakham, hosted the event, which attracted about 20 other escape room business owners from Sheffield, Wales, Weymouth, Exeter, Cheltenham and Ipswich.

The aim of the day was to share stories and ideas, and for the other owners to try some of the games at One Way Out.

All nine of One Way Out’s staff were on duty on the day, running five games at the same time.

It was a hugely successful day and two records for the rooms were broken, Tessa said.
