Fun for dogs and owners alike at 10th show

The 10th annual Three Counties Dog Show took place on Saturday (August 25) in the grounds of the Tallington Farm Shop.

Many dogs and their owners, both old friends and new turned up to test their talents in any one of 16 classes.

There were 210 entries spread across the categories with opportunities to wag tails the fastest, show off their party pieces and to be the first to sit in musical sits. The best in show cup was awarded to Spud and owner Sam Miller but rosettes and trophies were on display everywhere.

A variety of stalls provided opportunities to gather information on a number of things and to spend on raffles, tombolas and refreshments.

Being blessed with good weather was fortuitous as we had moved the show to Saturday from its traditional Sunday position when it rained all day.

All the funds raised will go to improving the lives of the dogs and cats in the care of Three Counties.
