Bourne slimming consultant Glynis Sullivan-Porteous wins award

A woman in the business of beating the bulge has received an award for supporting people with their weight loss and career goals.

Glynis Sullivan-Porteous, who runs a dieting consultancy from Cherry Holt Road in Bourne, received the 'Gold Champion' award at the Cambridge Weight Plan Annual Convention in Coventry this month.

A consultant for four years, Glynis gives dieters one-to-one support and has grown her team to 23 members, helping slimmers and other consultants in the area to achieve their weight loss or business goals.

She has also been the consultant to three finalists of the national Slimmer of the Year competition - two from Bourne and one from Langtoft.

Glynis said: “It has been an absolute privilege to help so many people in Bourne and the surrounding villages to lose weight.

"For some people this diet has changed their life beyond recognition including seeing some of my clients reverse their diabetes.

"To be recognised as one of the top consultants in the UK is a huge honour.”
