Motor company Friendly Car People opens in Little Bytham

Two motor dealers are in the driving seat of a new business that has the mission to provide reliable used cars.

Having worked in the motor trade for a combined total of 35 years, Adam Mauderne and Mark Paton decided to use their experience to start their own business.

The pair met nine years ago while working for a franchise dealer.

Mark, who lives in Bourne, said: "We particularly wanted the reward of working for ourselves, as well as wanting to bring a high level of service to our own business by treating people like people, not just buyers."

He added that they were keen to build a reputation of offering quality cars at a fair price.

The business, which is 'reliant on recommendations', is based in Station Road, Little Bytham.

All of their vehicles come with a six-month warranty and are checked using Experian Auto Check. A certificate is produced for every vehicle.

They also offer Diamondbrite paint and fabric protection.

Adam and Mark plan to expand their business over the year ahead.
