Lincolnshire County Council deal with fallen tree in Bourne

Residents in Bourne reported hearing a chainsaw late at night but it turned out to be a highways team dealing with a fallen tree.

Lincolnshire County Council's emergency resilience team were called to tree in Tin Lane in Bourne last night (Thursday, March 23).

They arrived on site at 8pm but didn't leave until after 1am.

This was because three had fallen onto the footpath and was unsafe. The police asked the council to carry out some urgent works on it.
