Jason Rebello, pianist for Sting and Jeff Beck, performs at Stamford Methodist Church for jazz series

A pianist who has worked with the likes of Sting and Jeff Beck will perform at a town venue next weekend.

Jason Rebello is regarded as one of the UK’s leading jazz musicians and brings his band to Stamford Methodist Church on Saturday, October 7 from 7.45pm.

He toured with Sting, the former frontman of The Police, for six years as part of his band, while also working on his albums.

Jason then toured the world with guitar legend Jeff Beck for the another six years, and has worked with many well-known music artists.

It is the latest in a series of jazz nights put on at the venue by town musician Steve Andrews.
