BBC One antiques show Bargain Hunt appearance for Bourne family on Christmas special

A Bourne mother and son are set to appear on a long-running daytime television show next week.

Denise Peach and her son Tom Warwood, who now lives in Stamford, will appear on the Christmas edition of BBC 1 antiques show Bargain Hunt on Monday (December 19) at 12.15pm.

They filmed the Christmas special at Peterborough Antiques Fair in September and at an auction in Lichfield the following month.

Denise applied to go on in memory of her grandmother Alice Peters who was a regular viewer of the show before she died aged 101.

Sales manager Tom and dog groomer Denise had little experience of antiques and paid £39 for two smaller items and £120 for their big lot, but they have had to remain tight-lipped on how they fared before the show is broadcast.
