Man found with stab wounds in Stamford
Police and ambulance crews were called to a disturbance in Stamford, after a man was stabbed.
Police were called at 10.08am today (Monday, July 9) after reports of the disturbance, close to Bluecoat Primary School in Stamford.
A spokesman said: "A man was found with stab wounds to his leg.
"His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-altering."
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
A woman has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Police cordoned off two sides of Elizabeth Road and were not allowing vehicles through while forensic officers were at the scene.
Pedestrians were, however, allowed to pass through.
An eyewitness said the air ambulance helicopter had landed on the school's fields.
Police confirmed the school, nor any of its pupils, were involved.
