Public help police officers to find wanted man Christopher Tilley in Stamford

Police have thanked the public for their help in tracing a wanted man.

Officers put out an appeal for help to trace Christopher Tilley this afternoon after he failed to comply with notification requirements under the Sexual Offences Act.

A police spokesman said: "Following several calls about sightings of Christopher Tilley and information from people in Stamford, we can update that he has been arrested and is now in custody."
