Police name woman whose body was found in Winsover Road, Spalding
Police have now named the woman whose body was found by officers at a property in Spalding earlier this week.
Kristine Sparane, 37, was discovered by officers after they forced their way into a property in Winsover Road, Spalding, on Tuesday night and her family are now being supported. She lived in Winsover Road.
Officers have cordoned off a section of the Victoria Street Car Park while investigations are continuing but they have now put out an appeal for information.
A 64-year-old man from the Spalding area remains in custody. He is believed to have been known to the victim
A force spokesman said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to Kristine between 3pm on Monday, November 25, and 7.30pm on Tuesday, November 26. We would appeal for anyone who is able to help with information to contact the investigation team.”
Spalding’s Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector Matt Dickinson says his team will remain at the scene while investigations continue.
He said: “We understand that this incident is likely to be concerning for our community. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic death continues.
“Officers and staff from the investigation team remain at the scene and we will be continuing our inquiries for some time.”
