Sheep painted with poppies for Remembrance Day at Eyebrook Wild Bird Feeds farm

Sheep were wearing more than just their woolly coats at the weekend.

The animals, which belong to the farmers behind Eyebrook Wild Bird Feed, were prepared for Remembrance Sunday, sporting poppies sprayed on with animal-safe paint while they roamed the family farm.

Eleven ewes decorated the road-side fields with their support for the Poppy Appeal, garnering a lot of attention from passing drivers.
