Uppingham toilets have been refurbished

Town centre toilets have been given a revamp.

Uppingham Town Council has taken over responsibility for the facilities in Market Place which were previously managed by Rutland County Council.

A spokesman said: "After years of neglect the toilets have received a complete overhaul with new roofing and fittings.

"It has been a long process but we feel these toilets will serve the community and visitors to our lovely town for many years into the future."
