Fairtrade campaigners spread their message at Uppingham Social Sunday
Campaigners from the Rutland Fairtrade Forum hosted a promotional stall at the latest Uppingham Social Sunday.
Visitors were able to test out a water pump to find out what it's like to carry two gallons of water - a daily chore for children in other parts of the world.
Fairtrade products were on sale and information was available to learn about the importance of offering a fair price for their products.
Group chairman David Lewis said: “It was lovely to be back out in the community, talking to people about the benefits which Fairtrade brings to millions of the world’s poorest people."
