Storm Amy causes disruption across Lincolnshire and Rutland




Storm Amy is causing disruption across Lincolnshire and Rutland.

A yellow warning has been issued by the Met Office for strong and gusty winds of up to 55mph. The weather warning is in place until 7pm tonight.

The weather has already lead to the cancellation of some events, and the closures of some parks including:

Barnack School fun run has been cancelled

Burghley Park and Belton Estate are closed

A tribute concert to Taylor Swift was cancelled on Friday due to concerns

There are also reports of trees and debris on the road across the area and motorists are advised to drive with caution.
