Several arrests were made during a police operation to crack down on drug dealing.

Inside their vehicle was also a stolen wallet belonging to an Oakham resident.

Another suspect was arrested for immigration offences after being stopped in a vehicle connected to drug supply.

PC George Pears said: “Drugs being brought into communities brings with it a wide range of criminality.

“This operation sends a clear message that this will not be tolerated in our county and those negatively impacting our community will be dealt with robustly.

“This operation also shows the great collaboration and information sharing between different forces and proves that policing is not restricted by county borders.”
