Suspected Spalding drink driver was chasing Pokemon

Police stopped a driver in Spalding on suspicion of drink driving yesterday evening (Thursday).

The Volkswagen Polo had been driving very slowly around the town centre and was stopped in Holland Market – but the driver told officers he was chasing Pokemon.

He was given a fixed penalty notice for using his mobile phone to play the Pokemon Go game.
