Travellers set up camp at Tesco's in Oakham

Shoppers arriving at the Oakham branch of Tesco's found many car park spaces taken up by travellers over the weekend.

A group of caravans arrived on Sunday and filled a number of spaces at the supermarket's car park.

"On Sunday afternoon, several caravans parked in the car park of our Oakham store," said a Tesco spokesman.

"We've asked the owners to move them and the store is open as normal."
