Stretton villagers plant tree for Queen's canopy

The Stretton Community Hub Association in Rutland organised the event and some residents from Stretton Parish came to help on Saturday, February 25, to plant a silver birch tree, Snow Queen.

The group had been waiting for good weather in the planting season to do this.

The tree was planted on the village side roundabout off the A1 just on the northern side verge.
