VIDEO: Police and councils launch anti-violence campaign

Lincolnshire’s Chief Constable Neil Rhodes, along with Boston Borough Council’s community safety councillor Stephen Woodliffe have today (Thursday) officially launched their annual countywide anti-violence campaign.

The Op Nova campaign, which stands for say No to Violence and Abuse, aims to reducing alcohol related violence, domestic abuse and violence in the home.

It includes encouraging people to speak to their local neighbourhood policing team about their concerns on violent behaviour.

A series of posters have been launched in multiple Eastern European languages to support the campaign and Mr Rhodes has also put more officers on patrol over the festive period.

In the video above Mr Rhodes explains more about the campaign.
