Storm Eunice: Rutland Water, Burghley Park in Stamford, Bourne Wood and Fineshade Wood closed as storm rolls in

As Storm Eunice rolls in a number of attractions are closed today (Friday, February 18).
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning, the second highest, which will last until 9pm tonight.
Events, attractions and regular fixtures affected by the weather are:
- Stamford Market - a limited number of traders have attended
- Arts Around Town - South Kesteven District Council's half-term events in Stamford and Bourne have been cancelled
- Burghley Park, Stamford - closed. Burghley House said: "To ensure the safety of our visitors and staff Burghley Park will be closed due to the severe weather warnings forecast. The Park, Orangery Restaurant, Garden Café and Courtyard shop will reopen as usual on Saturday subject to weather forecasts."
- Rutland Water - closed. Anglian Water said: "For safety reasons Rutland Water will be closed for all access this Friday. If you were planning a trip on Friday we kindly ask that you postpone your visit for another day."
- Bourne Wood - car park closed. The Forestry England said: "We shall close the road down to the main car park at Bourne Wood and strongly advise that you do not enter the woods at any time on this day. This is because the combination of recent rain and strong winds means trees may be unstable and fall without warning. Also branches may be removed or dislodged and fall from a great height at any time. We shall open again on Saturday as soon as the woodland has been checked for storm damage."
- Fineshade Wood - closed
- Don't Lose Hope's garden and shed - closed on Saturday (February 19)
- Hambleton Farms, Oakham - closed
- Belvoir Castle, near Grantham, and the Engine Yard - closed
- Belton House, near Grantham - closed
Stamford College has also closed today.
