Stamford AFC have re-signed winger Cosmos Matwasa on loan from National League North club Alfreton Town

Fans' favourite Cosmos Matwasa has returned for a one-month loan spell with Stamford AFC.

The livewire attacker played a crucial role during Stamford's stint as a Northern Premier League Midlands Division club where he netted in their play-off final defeat to Belper Town.

His performances earned Matwasa a move to National League North side Brackley who paid an undisclosed fee to sign the 26-year-old from the Daniels.

Matwasa moved to Hereford United in the close season after two years at Brackley who he helped to the play-off final last term before joining Alfreton Town last month.

He made his Stamford return in their Southern League Premier Division clash at Lowestoft Town tonight (Tuesday).
