Ten-man Stamford defied a first half sending off to secure their first win of the Southern League Premier Division Central campaign on Saturday.

The Daniels defeated Stourbridge 3-1 despite having Elliott Durrell dismissed in the 25th minute against his former club in the first half of the match at the War Memorial Ground.

Joao Varela gave the Daniels the lead just past the half-hour mark with Fletcher Toll doubling the advantage after the break.
