Bourne Town’s big derby at Blackstones and Deeping Rangers match at home to Boston Town on Saturday were victims of the snow and ice as fixtures across the area were postponed.

However all three clubs are hoping to be back in action tomorrow when Deeping travel to AFC Rushden & Diamonds knowing a big crowd will expect the UCL Premier Division leaders to record a home win.

Rangers manager Tuncay Korkmaz said he is taking his side there to play and has no plans to ‘park the bus’ and defend for 90 minutes.

He said: “Hopefully we can repeat last season’s result when we won there.

“This campaign has been a bit touch and go in many ways but we have been consistent in the last 10 games.

“It’s an opportunity for the lads to play in front of a few hundred fans.

“But we will approach this game like every other week, even though we are away to title contenders.

“It’s a good occasion for us. We’ve had a rest after the Boston Town game was called off and we are raring to go again.”
