Elliott Durrell and Pa Sulay Njie have Southern League Premier Division Central club Stamford AFC
Stamford have strengthened their squad for a play-off push with two experienced additions.
Elliott Durrell and Pa Sulay Njie have joined the Southern League Premier Division Central club.
Former Grantham Town player Durrell has arrived from league rivals Stourbridge.
The 35-year-old has National League experience having previously played for Wrexham, Chester and Macclesfield Town.
Njie is a former Gambian international who has been with Halesowen Town this season having previously played for Hereford and Banbury.
The duo will bolster a Stamford squad that has been hit by a series of injuries and setbacks this season.
Harry Vince and Joe Burgess are both ruled out for the rest of the campaign due to injury while fellow midfielder Rob Morgan departed the Daniels for Harborough Town earlier this term.
Midfielder George Hobbins is also suspended for the next two games after picking up his 10th caution of the season in the weekend win at Barwell.
Stamford boss Graham Drury said: "They're both technically very good footballers but are short of match fitness.
"We've got to get them up to speed because I just had an inkling at the Barwell game that I needed to get a couple in before the deadline later this month.
"It was lucky we did because it has strengthened an area where we needed it."
Stamford are at home to Alvechurch on Saturday looking to continue their play-off push.
They are only outside the play-off places on goal difference and are just five points off top spot with eight games of the season remaining.
After Saturday's home match, games follow against Bedford, Kettering, Bishop's Stortford, Stratford, Banbury, Spalding and Halesowen.
