Stamford AFC draw with Lowestoft Town in the Southern League Premier Division Central

An injury-time equaliser from George Hobbins earned Stamford a share of the spoils in their home match with Lowestoft Town on Saturday.

Hobbins hit home the late leveller in the third minute of stoppage time to earn Stamford a point in a 2-2 draw in the Southern League Premier Division Central clash.

Two goals in four second half minutes from Harvey Sayer had given the Trawlerboys control of the contest before Stamford struck back.

Kai Tonge scored his first goal for the club on the hour mark to halve the deficit before Hobbins struck the last-gasp equaliser.

It was Stamford's fourth game in eight days and they are again in action on Tuesday night when they host Redditch United.
