Stamford AFC have made nine new additions to their squad ahead of the Southern League Premier Division Central campaign

Stamford have made their ninth signing of the summer after agreeing terms with Cuba Meyer.

The Dutchman has joined the Daniels after spending last season in the National League North with Peterborough Sports.

The 21-year-old joined the Turbines after spells in his homeland as a youth with both Zeeburgia and Emmen, the latter who play in the second tier of Dutch football.

Meyer made more than 20 appearances for Peterborough Sports last season and is the latest addition to the Daniels' ranks ahead of their Southern League Premier Division Central campaign.

Goalkeepers Tom Jackson and Will Lakin have already committed to the club along with six other outfield players.

Jordon Cook has returned to the Zeeco Stadium along with newcomers Ollie Clark, Charlie Marzano, Luke Redfern, Jack Holmes and Ethan Young.

Manager Graham Drury has also retained the services of a number of players from last season's squad.

Skipper Rob Morgan, James Blunden, Will Glennon, Harry Vince, Jack Duffy, Lee Shaw, Tendai Chitiza, Joe Burgess, Connor Bartle, Billy Bennett, Mike Armstrong, Tom Siddons, Jon Challinor and Michael Frew will all be back next season.

Goalkeepers Michael Duggan and Dan Wallis have both departed the club along with Ashton Offler, Ollie Brown-Hill, Florian Tsagium, Brad Munns, Tiago Nassunculo and Rhys Hilton.

The Daniels get their pre-season programme of matches underway on Tuesday night when they travel to United Counties League Premier Division North newcomers Harrowby United to play for the Pete Down Memorial Cup (7.30pm).

Deeping Rangers kick-off their preparations for the new United Counties League Premier Division North campaign tonight (Friday).

The Clarets host National League North side King's Lynn at the Haydon Whitham Stadium in a match which has been brought forward to Friday night to avoid clashing with England's Euro 2024 quarter-final on Saturday.

Rangers have added two former Stamford players to their squad in their recruitment drive.

Goalkeeper Duggan has joined on a permanent basis after spending time last season with the Clarets under dual registration.

Ex-Stamford striker Sam Mulready has also agreed term for the new season.

Mulready finished last term with Soham Town Rangers in the Thurlow Nunn League after starting his career at Grimsby Town before spells with Gainsborough Trinity, Boston United, King's Lynn Town, St Neots Town, Corby Town and Dereham.

Midfielder Will Barnes has also joined the Clarets after spending the last couple of seasons in the Thurlow Nunn League with Holbeach United.

He is joined at Deeping by Jordan Oldham - who was also with the Tigers last season - and goalkeeper Tyler Key.

Bourne Town have added two new signings to their title-winning squad as they prepare for life in the United Counties League Premier Division North.

Martin Tudosa and Brad Marshall have agreed to join the Wakes who have also retained a number of key players from last season's title-winning squad.

Marauding full-back Tudosa makes the switch from neighbours Blackstones after an impressive season for the Stamford side last term.

Marshall has been a target for Bourne boss Michael Goode who tried to sign the imposing central defender at the end of last season.

He had started the campaign at United Counties League Premier Division South side Daventry Town before ending the season at Corby Strip Mills who he helped win the Northants Combination Premier Division title.

The duo join 13 players from last season's squad who helped the Wakes win the United Counties League Division One championship.

Skipper Robbie Ellis, goalkeeper Dan Swan and the defensive quartet of Richard Jones, Matt Cox and Dan Wilson as well as player-assistant boss Dan Flack have all committed for the new season.

Attackers Zak Munton - who netted 20 times last season - and 17-goal Will Bird have also agreed terms for the coming campaign along with top scorer James Hill-Seekings and Jack Wilson who joined towards the end of the season from Blackstones.

The highly-rated midfield trio of Henry Dunn, Shaun Archer and Zac Allen will also be returning as the Wakes prepare for their first season at step five of the non-league pyramid in nearly 15 years.

Their pre-season friendlies get underway with a trip to United Counties League Premier Division South side Yaxley on Tuesday, July 9.

Blackstones started their pre-season programme on Wednesday night with a 1-1 draw against Newark & Sherwood.

They travel to FC Peterborough on Saturday for a friendly which gets underway at 2pm.
