Bourne Town's promotion to step four of the non-league pyramid will see the Wakes competing in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division next season.
The Football Association released their National League System club allocations on Thursday with the Wakes being promoted along with Lichfield City, Rugby Borough and St Neots.
Basford United and Mickleover have been relegated from the Premier Division with Belper Town and Carlton Town facing a lateral movement.
Relegated Grantham Town will be playing in the United Counties League Premier Division North next season along with promoted Blackstones and Deeping Rangers.
Stamford and Spalding both remain in the Southern League Premier Division Central with Barwell gaining a reprieve from relegation and Needham Market dropping down from the National League.
Bury Town, Quorn, Real Bedford and Worcester City have all been promoted.
Holbeach United and Pinchbeck United have both been placed in the Thurlow Nunn League Division One North again.
