Richard Martin took the competition's first-ever hat-trick on the opening night of the Stamford Super Sevens tournament.
The Oakham bowler took three successive wickets in his side's victory over Stamford Rugby.

Empingham and hosts Stamford progressed from Wednesday's action with wins over Tolethorpe and Hoyles' Sharks respectively while Oakham made it through to finals night after defeating Grainstore in the last eight.
This year's competition is a knock-out format with 16 teams of players all over the age of 40 taking part.
The two semi-finals and final will be played tonight (Friday) with play getting underway at Uffington Road at 6pm. There will be a small beer festival, barbecue and pizzas available.
